In, 1957, a group of Teaneck citizens decided to raise money to help finance deserving high school seniors with their continuing education. That first year, two college-bound graduating students received $500 in scholarship aid. Since then, the community-supported fund has grown exponentially! This year, we awarded over $120,000 to 45 Teaneck students from 8 different high schools with funds ranging from $1400 to $4500 thanks to the
generous support from local businesses, houses of worship, alumni groups, community organizations and many Teaneck residents.
Over the past 69 years, we have, and will remain committed to, helping Teaneck students pursue their further education and achieve success! Your contribution to the Community Scholarship Fund of Teaneck is a worthy investment in our community's greatest treasure: our children!
Community Scholarship Fund of Teaneck is an all volunteer nonprofit 501c(3). 96% to 99% of every dollar raised goes directly to scholarships.
